Terms of Service

Welcome to Char AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Char AI mobile application ("App") operated by Snakescript Solutions LLP ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. AI-Generated Content

The App provides AI-generated character interactions for entertainment purposes.

• AI responses are fictional and do not represent real people, opinions, or advice.
• AI-generated content should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or any professional advice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or reliability of AI-generated responses.
• Characters and their responses are generated by artificial intelligence and do not reflect the views of Snakescript Solutions LLP.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the App or its AI systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload or transmit malicious content
• Circumvent rate limits, token systems, or subscription restrictions
• Redistribute or commercially exploit AI-generated content without permission

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier: New users receive a limited number of free messages per day and a starting token balance.

Subscriptions: Premium subscriptions provide unlimited chat access and additional benefits. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and policies.

Tokens: Tokens are an in-app currency used for premium features such as image generation and outfit purchases. Tokens have no real-world monetary value and are non-transferable.

Billing:

• Subscription payments are processed by Google Play Billing.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play Store settings.
• Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, its design, code, and AI models are owned by Snakescript Solutions LLP.
• Character personas, stories, and related content are our intellectual property.
• You retain ownership of the messages you write, but grant us a license to process them for providing the service.
• AI-generated content (responses, images) is provided for your personal use only.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated content.

8. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor and moderate content for safety and compliance
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Restrict or terminate access for users who violate our policies

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Unused tokens are non-refundable upon termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
